Knowledge Transfer
A critical stage of awareness for the importance of entrepreneurship development has been reached in South Africa. A range of supportive programs are offered and enabling policies have been implemented by government institutions. However, major challenges for critical impact still exist (GEM Report 2006). Some of these challenges consist of the lack of a ubiquitous culture of entrepreneurship and support infrastructures in South Africa due to its history of preventing self actualization of the majority of its citizens.
Additionally, support initiatives are fragmented and lack cohesion and continuity. Nala - Partners believe that their hands-on support and toolkit combined with effective and systematic knowledge exchange and intercultural dialogue can offer the much needed exposure of entrepreneurs to international business practice and key stakeholders.
Knowledge transfer and knowledge exchange will allow us to offer our toolkit, our business experience as well as mentoring, cultural diversity expertise and intercultural dialogue knowledge in the form of workshops, networking events and soon as an online service to a much larger target group.
